first things first

I had some thoughts over on our happiness project blog. Read them HERE.

Today our water is going to be turned off at noon to fix a broken fire hydrant down the road. My mind is swirling of things to do in case it is off all afternoon (like wash Ana's sheets).

a list

My sleep-deprived brain must be turning to mush. I can't seem to form coherent sentences and I am acting as though I have ADD. Like Friday when I told Dave to go stand by our really tall friend so I could see who is taller and then completely forgot to look. He stood there for a whole 2 minutes and all along I was thinking, "Where did Dave go?" Or a week ago when we were discussing Ana's book order and right in the middle of the whole thing I stood up and walked away to do something else. Mush, I tell you.

So, where was I going with this.

Oh, yeah -
a list of things I want to blog about but that my mushy brain puts an end to: (does that make sense? I didn't think so.)

1. General Conference. Awesome!!

2. How adorable my baby is. See? (Okay this one wasn't so hard.)

3. That Ana is all sorts of fun and acting like such a big kid. Like making signs and books and saying funny creative things.

4. The really cool narrated boat cruise Dave and I went on.

5. How much I love baby wearing.

6. That life is oh, so good!!!

I'm sure there are more, but I can't remember them. Because my brain is turning to mush.

Only 4 more weeks to go.

I think probably less. But who knows, right?

We painted Ana's room and dresser one weekend. They turned out really cute, but I haven't managed to take pictures.

I'm tired most of the time, and I really don't remember my body aching like this that last 2 times.

Dave's nephew is coming to visit us tomorrow. Cross your fingers that I can go to Palmyra with them on Wednesday, though staying home by myself sounds pretty good too.

I like having Dave home. I'm afraid the next 5 weeks are going to spoil me rotten.

I got pulled over in New Hampshire while we were driving home from Boston on Tuesday. For a cracked windshield. I couldn't find my wallet because it was in the trunk. The stop woke Jack up, who decided he needed to pee, so Dave had to help him go by the side of the road. Luckily I didn't get a ticket, but basically the cop said, "you know, if you ever register your car in Vermont, you'll have to get that fixed." And that was that.
