I submitted the AMCAS application to be verified yesterday. Last year I went to Peru in July and decided to wait till I got back to submit my first application so I could include stuff about Peru in it. Bad choice. I submitted it last year on the first of August instead of on the 5th of June, only three days after the first day possible. Also, my personal statement is better this year and really focuses on what it is supposed to. Those were the big changes anyway. We are also applying to more schools this year and 3 DO schools. There is a list of progress on the left side. Erin officially hates me doing application stuff and is glad this part is over.

I'd like to know where all those colleges are. I can relate to the comic with the train. Life is a lot like that. I never say "things will never be worse." because then I find out they can. Even though I might say, "whew, I'm glad that's over!" the next thing is just around the bend (or train :-) but that's okay. Good stuff happens too.
Hey there! So, turns out we have been looking a lot more at Pacific Northwest too, and we we also applied to Rocky Vista! It will be really fun to see if we both get admitted to those! What schools (MD and DO) would you want to go to the most? Have you finished the DO application yet? Good luck with everything and keep us updated! Jake's taking the MCAT on July 2nd--yikes!
