Things have been pretty routine around here. I'm not particularly happy with the routine, but its routine none the less. I haven't been pulling out the camera much lately. In all honesty, I've been somewhat grumpy and tired. The snow is slowly melting, which means outside is a wet, muddy mess, and it's still too cold to go out much. Consequently the kids watch too much TV and then I feel guilty.
How's that for whining.
Some happy things:
*Ana has been keeping her bed dry. Hooray! (It also means she wakes up as early as 6:30 to go pee and she stays awake. Boo!)
*Jack is pretty obsessed with Cars. He earned some Cars underwear last week and is very proud of them. He also does his 24-piece Cars puzzle several times a day. He is always very proud of himself when he completes it and must show everyone. Then he breaks it up and starts all over.
*Jack uses the word "probably" in place of "promise." For instance, "I prob'ly I won't chase Ana anymore." Very funny. Ana also says "soaking" in place of "really." i.e. "That would be soakin' cool."
*My in-laws finish their mission this month and will come to visit us. Woohoo! I'm on a quest to spring clean my house for the next few weeks so its in tip-top shape for their visit.
*Ana is very interested in anything to do with the baby. The other day she asked how big the baby was and so we pulled out my "what to expect..." book and looked at the drawings of the baby's development. She loved it. She comments on my growing tummy, asks lots of questions, and sometimes makes stuff up. "Mom, I just heard the baby in your tummy talking." or "When I was in your tummy I liked to swim around." She is very curious about all of it. She also thinks my boobs are magical because they will feed the baby.
*In 3 weeks we will find out if we are having a boy or girl. What's your vote?
That's all. I'm out.

I feel the same way about our routine sometimes. But those sayings from the kids are tooo cute!
Last week we were standing in the checkout lane at Costco and out of the blue Caleb said "Mommy, when you have another baby we should name him Marshall."" Okay??? I had to laugh, and then I asked him, "What if it's a girl?" And he replied, "Then her name can be MARSHA!!!" Lol, too funny
umm GIRL!
And I have magical boobies!!! haha
Girl...for Ana. :)
