life in a northern town

Sunday was bright and beautiful. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to head north for some leaf peeping. So after church we hopped in the car and took a drive up to what is called the Northeast Kingdom (the 3 counties in the Northeast corner of Vermont). With a bunch of snacks and some good music, it was a nice relaxing drive in the most beautiful place on earth.

A picture Dave took on the way home as he was setting the camera settings. Then the camera battery died:

The hills were ablaze in orange and we saw the most amazing sunset as we drove home. It was awesome!
