15 month check up

We took Ana to her 15 month well baby. If you remember, her last appointment the doc was concerned because she was so underweight. But she is 19.2 pounds and 31 inches tall. The doc just figures she'll be skinny like her dad and not too worry. Developmentally she's fine. They asked if she can say 5-15 words. She says about 25. recent additions: "cookie" and "bubble". She walks great, carries things, pushes, pulls, etc. And she babbles all day long. She's looking great!

She really is starting to act like a little girl instead of a baby. It is so fun when they start getting around on their own and entertaining themselves.

Glad to hear she's doing fine. My oldest was teeny-tiny, too. She still is. when she was about Ana's age, it took the doctor tons of not-so-fun tests to tell me that everything was okay--which I already knew.

That is great to know that she is going fine. Emma was the same way, and at the WIC office we heard those same things about weight with emma until she was 5 and off of wic. They just don't get it sometimes, that she is in the 90%percent for height and 10% for weight that she is just skinny and tall. She looks good.
