I've seen that once before and I liked it better this time than the time before. I think my favorite part is where you see and hear the song from the outside of the "studio" and then again from the inside, as if to realize that these guys are hearing themselves with greater awesomeness than the people outside of the "studio" are hearing them. Alternate realities. My other favorite part is the realization that Jack Black can SING!!!
I like Jack Black and unlike most of my family I enjoyed "Be Kind Rewind" I think (hope) that this video you posted is making fun of rock band attempts to be evil, Satanic, and 'bad'. I liked that they were brothers and that going into a kareoke recording studio was the highlight of their career, even though it was abruptly ended by police taking them away. Another gag about being bad?
