I've been a little more emotional than usual the last few days. There are a lot of things that go into it, I'm sure. Dave's been super busy with school the last week, and I always get anxious/stressed when he is. And with the move coming up, and the stress of trying to get into Med School still looming before us, its a lot for my emotions to handle. (On top of being pregnant). Plus, Ana has been a little more difficult the last few days. Maybe she can sense the stress too? Or maybe she can tell that there are going to be a lot of changes in her little world over the next few months. New house, new bed, new brother...
Anyway, because of this "in between" situation I find myself it right now (in between school and more school, that is), I often get this "someday when its all done" syndrome and thats what I think about. So, when I heard this song today, you can imagine why the message was extra poignant.
I cried. Pretty hard.

I also cried when I first heard that song. It is one of my favorites right now. I think it rings true for most everyone.
I can see why that song would make you cry right now. Good luck!
I love, love, love this song! It made me cry too and I don't have all those stuffs going on.
that's a good song. i haven't listened to country in ages.
Sigh....I love this song too. I am listening to it as I type this, and it makes me want to cry. It's so beautiful. Best of luck Erin.
It made me cry too, and I'm not even a big country fan. I went through a lot of the same things you are--new baby, a move, more schooling in Doug's future, and a toddler to take care of. I'll be praying for you. It's hard, but things worked out and we were well taken care of and blessed by so many people. I'm sure the same will happen for you. Wish I was there--I'd bring Ana right over and Aubrey would have such a blast with her!
I put that song on my blog because when I heard it the other day I cried because I feel like that is already happening my kids are growing so fast my baby is 2mths I feel like we brought her home yesterday. Alyssa is almost 12 HOLY COW. Cherish every moment is all we can do!
Great song. Thanks for the reminder.
